Fertilization Support
Fertilization, which is the amalgamation of sperm and egg cells, is a decisive step in reproduction and in-vitro fertilization. Contrary to natural fertilization, this step takes place outside the woman’s body, in a specimen dish.
Unfortunately, it can happen that only a few egg cells or none will be fertilized and a so-called fertilization failure occurs. This can happen in the case of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) as well as in the ICSI-method.

- Rescue ICSI: Application of the ICSI-method on the day after IVF in the case of a previous fertilization failure
- ICSI-method for the next treatment cycle
- PICSI: Selection of sperm cells which bind themselves to hyaluronan and therefore demonstrate less defects in their genetic make-up and more frequently show a normal cell core
- CULT-active: an artificial enrichment of calcium in the egg cell immediately after fertilization, in order to increase the fertilization rate
