Our initiative "fertility for future"
We show commitment in the field of fertility care and launched in 2021 the movement "fertility for future"! We want to educate young people and create awareness for fertility and fertility care. And we do this long before family planning is due.
"fertility for future" is an initiative of the Kinderwunschzentrum an der Wien, led by the medical directors Univ. Prof. Dr. Andreas Obruca and Univ. Prof. Dr. Heinz Strohmer. Every day we accompany and support couples on their journey to have a child. Sentences like "If I had known earlier..." or insufficient knowledge about the steady decline of one's own fertility characterize the conversations of our team of doctors.
With "fertility for future", we would like to achieve above all that we no longer have to have these conversations in the future and that young women and men have self-determined control over their fertility and family planning. We have created a separate website for "fertility for future" that gives you comprehensive information on the topic of fertility care. We also inform you about all the various aspects that can endanger your desire to have children later on.

What connects us with the pineapple
In 2017, the British online magazine "IVFbabble" launched a campaign to bring the topic of infertility out of its shadowy existence and into the public eye. Since then, the pineapple has become a universal symbol of friendship and warmth among all those women and couples who are trying to get pregnant.
