Individual counselling

A fertility experience is a big step which is not always easy for many of our patients. In addition, medical terminology sounds incredibly complicated and has an intimidating effect.

It is very important to us that you feel very well informed and understand everything. We offer information webinars and digital counselling where you have the opportunity to get detailed information:

  • Our monthly fertility webinar offers interested couples the opportunity to get to know us better. The webinar takes place in the form of a Zoom meeting. You can take part in a presentation that gives you an understanding of the diagnosis and treatment options and then ask questions (anonymously if you wish) to the doctor giving the presentation and our psychotherapist in the Zoom chat.
  • With our IVF counselling service, patients who are just starting their first IVF treatment or are already in the preparation phase before stimulation have the opportunity to find out in detail about the very large and complex topic of artificial insemination. In a video (at the moment only available in German language) that you can watch in the comfort of your own home (and several times if necessary), the most important topics relating to IVF are discussed. This video is a free offer for patients of the Kinderwunschzentrum an der Wien.

A multi-cultural society brings language challenges. We are, however, also well prepared for this: we can offer you a team of doctors who can advise you willingly in ten different languages. And if your mother tongue is not on the list, you can of course bring an interpreter along.

  •  first consultation is possible in the following languages:
    • German: all the team
    • English: all the team
    • French: Dr Béatrice Danninger
    • Italian: Univ Prof Dr Heinz Strohmer and Dr Verena Passuello
    • Bosnian, serbian and croatian: Dr Dijana Hadziomerovic-Pekic
