Important information for all IVF fund patients
As of 01.09.2023, the IVF fund will increase the deductible rates for patients undergoing IVF treatment supported by the IVF fund. We inform you about all important changes below.
IVF fund tariff increase as of 01.09.2023
For the first time since 2017, the IVF fund will increase the deductible rates for all patients undergoing treatment supported by the IVF fund as of 1st of September 2023. These newly adjusted tariffs affect all Austrian IVF centres and the tariffs are also the same in all centres. Below you will find the cost overview of the IVF fund with the new tariffs:
Storage of cryopreserved embryos
Another change enacted by the IVF fund as of 01.09.2023 concerns the storage of cryopreserved embryos.
If surplus embryos can be frozen during an IVF attempt, the IVF fund will from now on assume the costs for freezing and storage for 6 months.
