Our nutritionist Johanna Wolf, MSc regularly creates recipes for our fertility menu. These menus are handed out to our patients immediately after the embryo transfer in order to actively support nidation through a healthy nutrition.
A balanced and healthy diet can facilitate pregnancy – regardless of fertility treatments. Experts advise couples to change their nutritional habits at least 4 months prior to a planned pregnancy. The earlier the better!
- 2 ripe avocados
- a pinch of grated coriander
- 4-6 tbsp lemon juice
- a pinch of paprika powder
- a bit of salt
- slices of black bread
optional – fresh herbs:
Cut the avocados in half and remove the stone and skin. Afterwards mash the avocados with the help of a fork.
Tip: If you only use half of the avocado, always leave the stone in the remaining half – by doing so it won’t become brown.
Add the spices and lemon juice to the mashed avocados. The avocado cream on toasted black bread can be served with capers or cooked eggs. Optionally the slices can be sprinkled with fresh herbs (e.g. parsley, chives, cress,…).
